in chronological order...
 
...they smile at you while nursing.
 
...they use breastfeeding terms (nipple, areola) while talking on their  play 
phone.
 
...they postpone the strapping of the car seat because their teddy  needs 
yummies.  
 
...they ask why they are the only kid in preschool still getting  yummies.
 
...they cry big crocodile tears when they discover that they will be  
daddies--and daddies don't do yummies! 
 
...they say the same line you say as you are answering a breastfeeding  
question.
 
...they know the finer points of good latch better than some of the mothers  
you have taught.
 
...they ask if a pregnant woman if her baby will be breastfed.
 
...they give a thumbs up to a nursing mom in the mall.
 
...when a friend sneaks over a Playboy magazine, they say, "That's nothing,  
you should see the pictures my mom has..."
 
...they ask their date if she intends to breastfeed her children.
 
...they appreciate every finding that confirms the health benefits of  
breastfeeding as a personal notch in their health chain. 
 
...they call you from college to talk about a breastfeeding article or  
research study. 
 
...they tell you how thankful they were that you breastfed them one, two,  
three, four... years!
 
...they'll cuddle with you at any age because they are part of a bond that  
doesn't break.
 
... it will break their heart if their children aren't breastfed!
