Thanks, Kika. I was genuinely unclear what Frank was saying. 
I'm sure many people on Lactnet know about hormonal meds and the potential for as yet undiscovered problems. One of the concerns I have with this case study is that a number of questions have not been raised - and this is just one of the questions.

Yes - more or less what I outlined in my post earlier this weekend, when I wondered if all options had been put to the parents, because there was no mention of them having been discussed.

Yes :) I am taken aback by the fact that this has provoked so little discussion on this list. It's not wrong to ask questions, to raise concerns, and to point out shortcomings.
