I had a question re use of ritalin in a mother who has a 24 lb. 13 mo.
old baby who nurses once in a.m. and once in p.m. She would like to take
some college courses and feels she needs the medication to concentrate
and stay focused. I read her the info from Medications and Mother's
Milk. She wondered how long it stays in system. Is there a way she
could take it in the a.m. after nursing and then again after p.m.
nursing. She'd rather not wean, but would be willing to rather than
postpone classes if medication is a problem. Also, is there a substitue
med?
