Only a personal perspective. I've used one between two and eight times
a day for about five months now, expressing for a singleton. I can only
really validly compare to the Lactina Select and Pump In Style
Traveler. I have obtained similar milk volumes with all three, but the
Symphony I find far more comfortable than the PIS, and noticeably more
comfortable than the Lactina. I would say that the comfort is
comparable to a carefully-used Isis (which I have only used now and
then). I believe the Symphony has contributed to establishment of an
excellent milk supply [1], but I have no firm evidence to back this up,
as this is my first lactation. The inbuilt battery (I believe some come
with, some without) was a boon when travelling, and peace of mind
should the power go out for an extended period of time.

Interest declaration: I have been supplied with the Symphony pump at no
cost as I am involved as a subject in lactation research programmes at
Prof Hartmann's lab. I'm quite happy to rant about the company's
antibacterial wipes marketing!

[1] peaked at 1600 ml at three months on six sessions a day, maintained
at about 900-1050 ml on three sessions a day. Now back up to 900 ml (on
domperidone) five weeks after major emergency surgery.
