On the RAM issue,  i have always liked "BBB"  Bring Baby to Breast over ram.
 I use this with my discussion of  my "6 Steps " to proper postion  sheet.

1. Mom comfortable.

2. Tummy to Tummy

3. Straight Line
NOT on card (ear - shoulder - hip in same plane / nose - belly button)

4. C (u) Hold
NOT on card (fingers way back from nipple)

5. Open wide
NOT on card (tickle, tickle, tickle)

6.  B.B.B.
NOT on card (Bring baby to breast, no fair chasing the baby with the breast)

After going over these techniques  completely I have mom put this colorful
card on her fridge or somewhere she will be able to see it many times during
the next few days.

This approch seems to work much better.
