there are variations in instructions for homeopathy depending on the
practitioner.  i tend to follow the '15 minutes before or after' food,
beverage or brushing teeth.  while using the remedy, no coffee, mint
or mint toothpastes (as they antidote the remedy).   the remedy can be
taken as frequently as every 15 min during the acute phase, reducing
as there is improvement.

if 4 doses have been taken with no improvement, then it's likely that
it's the wrong remedy and another should be tried.  that's where it
gets tricky with homeopathy.  there are15 or so that I could easily
come up with that could be used for mastitis depending on symptoms.

pellets should be taken in a "clean mouth" (ie no food or drink for 15
min before or after) and should be dispensed in to cap, then directly
into the mouth, under the tongue (bypassing the hands).

some practitioners will say and hour before or after food, or 3-4x per
day etc.  there is a lot of variation depending on the training of
thepractitioner. both are right.
