Much also depends on when the baby has been weighed. If we catch a baby 
before it has stooled or voided at all, then there is going to be more 
weight loss than if we weigh a baby who has already had meconium stools 
before birth, or has voided or stooled right after birth before we have a 
chance to get the scale into the room.
