Hi all!
I too have been a bit annoyed at the opening of rental stations near my area
by the Medela.
First, the local drug store was put into buisness, then another LC all with
in a 3 mile radius to my already established practice opened up with pumps.
The company seems to have no regard for existing LC's that have been good
clients and loyal clients. It seems as though they will do whatever to get
their products out there, even at the expense of their current customers.
What this is in effect is the creation of a dilution factor. In
otherwords, the same number of moms exist in an area, the pumps are just
spread out thinner.
I do not see Burger King opening up stores down the street from other Burger
Kings. It appears many of us are perhaps taking a decrease in our business
while a business we have supported for many years gains profits without
regard for the ones that have helped it to where it is today.
