Kathy:  I prefer to say that formula feeding increases the risk because, as
you have stated many times--bf is the normal state for mammals.  Thus, any
deviation from the norm should be what is implicated or used as the
reference point.  When we continue to say that bf decreases the risk of
XXX, we make it sound like an option on an auto purchase.  For example,
would you like the option of anti-lock brakes that reduce your risk of
skidding and dying?  :  )
