Lactpals,

Is a pressure canner what we call a pressure cooker, here in UK?  If so, using
these would kill off everything in breastmilk due to v high heat?

Boiling point is 212F /100C and with using the smallest amount of pressure
valve of 5lbs, this will bring up the temp to 228F/108.5C.  If you live above
2,00ft above sea-level you have to increase 'cooking time' because, as
altitude increases, the boiling point of liquids decreases.

I think that I have talked myself around to believing that a pressure canner
is not a pressure cooker!
