Hello fellow lactnetters,

I have been lurking on Lactnet for a couple of months. My name is Cori
Bryant and I am an Occupational Therapist. I have worked primarily in
geriatrics but this fall will, hopefully, be switching to pediatrics,
including early intervention. The area I live in is not particularly
enlightened with respect to breastfeeding, so I am hoping that another
professional advocating breastfeeding will be encouraging to Moms
here....

I loved that scene in Deep Impact that you described as well. Not only
for the indirect reference to breastfeeding but also the sensitivity of
the father. All of the roles in this breastfeeding family were
definitely working.

About the Ensure - my assumption was that this was going to be the
"food" for the million people in the ark.

Hey! That's an interesting switch - breastmilk for the babies and
artificial adult "food".... Surely they could have had grow lamps to
grow "real" food.

Cori
