Hi, Rosellina.
I once worked with a baby whose lips were always pursed, even when she
was asleep. And when she extended her tongue, it was extremely pointy.
(Rather like the opposite of heart-shaped!) Just two visits to a cranial-sacral
therapist, and this baby's mouth was relaxed, and her tongue had a more normal
rounded shape. She needed a couple more visits to actually bring her palate
down to a normal level, but even after just the first two visits, mom was
experiencing a lot less pain during feedings.
