Dear friends,

Does it somehow connected with the new AAP SIDS guidelines (i.e. that it
is dangerous for baby to sleep through the night)? Can it be that it
simply became risky to advocate sleep training for young babies because of
possible lawsuits? How do you think?
I became curious because of people, who used those methods, sometimes
begin to advocate sleep training on local parenting boards here. I think
this change of position will be a nice argument against those practices.

Sincerely yours,
Victoria Nesterova,
bf supporter, Kiev, Ukraine

I heard him on TV this am and basically what he said was that people have
mis-interpreted what he said and what he meant over the past 20 years.
Basically he is saying you need to know your baby and your baby's cues.
There is no cookie cutter way to do this :-) Pat in SNJ
