Hi 'Netters-

I'm into parallels today. In the early 1900's,many people lost their lives
in water because they didn't know how to swim. The American Red Cross started
a massive effort to teach everyone how to swim with easy-to-access and
inexpensive classes, and also trained lifeguards for the people who got into
trouble. Is this a model for community-wide breastfeeding programs? Anybody
know if the Red Cross has gotten involved in this kind of teaching, or who to
contact about it? Any information about the International Red Cross and
their role in breastfeeding promotion and support?

problems after moms are tossed into the proverbial deep end without help.
