"Keeping Abreast Journal" was also the name of an early journal that
Jimmy Avery put out for several years in the late '70's. Gets your
attention, and takes advantage of a phrase that was very common when I
was young, like in the ;'30's, 40's, '50's, etc., long before the
re-popularization of breastfeeding began. It might well refer to even
male runners striving to cross the finish line first, implying that the
goal is to keep up with the leading insights.
