Two 6 yr. old boys on our way home from kung fu class, in my minivan.
Alex: "What's that? A tool box?"
My son Gregory. "No, a breast pump."
Alex: "???"
Gregory "It gets the milk when it won't come out of women's breasts."
Alex: "Oh God"
Gregory "My Mommy does that. She stops babies dying."
Me "Well, they're not exactly dying..."
Gregory "Yes Mommy remember that woman whose baby was very hungry...."
[relates recent case study reviewed over dinner; no idea he'd been listening].
Gregory to Alex. "Anyway what my Mommy does is very important. 'Cos if they
couldn't get the milk out to feed the babies they would die in the end,
wouldn't they mommy....."
