The Huggins booklet was used by ENFAMIL (excerpt from the Nursing Mother's
Companion - much to Kathleen's distress) and the Ross booklet is the one that
they distibute that is pink and was "co authored" by Edie Armstrong and Paula
Meier. Ross has a very elaborate package for HCPs with slides and a pump (the
old White River flange on a volufeed) and other "teaching materials" And the
AAP had/has a lovely purple covered book called something like "a mother's
guide to breastfeeding" or something like it. Which has no commercial ties
that I could see. Hope this clears it up for both of us. I may be able to dig
up copies of each, in which case I'd be glad to share with you, if you want
to contact me off line.
    Being in a hospital, I see it all. We are contacted by SOOOOO many
companies that it makes my head spin. Videos, nursing pillows, pumps, nipple
"creams" pads, etc. Some thinga are helpful, most are a waste of time.
