Hello again, I think I need to clarify the question I was posing yesterday
about high calorie formulas. The cases we have seen lately have been
instructed to mix 1 oz. concentrate formula with one oz. breastmilk. In
other words the breastmilk is being substituted for the water bringing the
total calorie intake to 31-32 calories per ounce. Have any of you seen this
concentrated load and what are your feelings about this. I hope I have
clarified what my question is. Thanks all, Lorna Humphreys, IBCLC
