I vote for the bottom lip, just as I vote for stimulating the bottom lip
with the nipple. For some reason babies seem to open their mouth wider
that way.
It is important to emphasize that the cup is not to be tipped into the
mouth. The tongue should come out when the lip is stimulated... that is
part of the reflex we are trying to reinforce so that the latch will be
optimal.
I look forward to the survey, since I have no idea what most people do.
JMO, but it's not so humble as of last night!
