I am helping a mother who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.  She feels the
drug (Synthroid) is making her 8 month old son hyperactive and restless.
From speaking to a doctor, I gather that thyroid replacement can make some
babies hyperactive.  Is this a cause for concern (apart from the mother's
frustration)?  Can anyone tell me more about Synthroid or anything else that
will help her with this condition?
