Within the past 24 hours there have been a couple of notable posts about the
poster's own BF experience, from Lynette Hafken and Casey Jah. Neither one
was a request for help from the list, which is something you should clear
with the listmothers before posting. Rather, in both cases the posts
illuminated a topic of interest to anyone working with breastfeeding
mothers, and did so succinctly and movingly. Casey's post was also very
brave, in that it involved personal disclosure of a sensitive nature. It is
a strong testimonial to the trust a subscriber feels in the rest of the list
when someone does this, and the listmothers appreciate the responsibility
that implies for us all.

These kinds of posts about one's own experience are definitely within the LN
guidelines.
Writing in my role as one of the listmothers,
