My milk always tasted "off" or soapy after freezing. My husband noticed it
when trying to feed the baby and I did too when I checked some. It was
definitely collected and stored correctly and frozen in a deep freeze. Baby
generally refused or took very little - luckily I was never away much. Since
I did not use pumped milk much, it was in the freezer for a while -- weeks
or months. Seems I've heard/read that some of the components break down - it
is safe to use, but not as tasty as fresh. I should know this - anyone care
to elucidate?
