PTP

Mother has POTS, induced at 36 weeks. Baby is 2 days and not latching well.
Hx of very large supply. With previous child would pump 60oz in 3 pumping
sessions a day. First pumpings this time got about 35ml. Mother is wary of
having a very large supply again especially due to the pain from being so
full.

Baby has a very small head, about 5 weeks behind in growth. Told to fortify
EBM w/formula 2x's a day.

Suggestions need to be very practical and easy to fit into life. Dietary
suggestions may be difficult to implement. Various health issues of mother
and other family member make lifestyle changes cumbersome. Numerous
toddlers in the household.
Typically when exclusive pumping w/a newborn I suggest pumping at least
8x's a day. I am concerned about setting her up for a very large supply
again.

I would appreciate any suggestions. On or off list responses welcome!

Thank you,
