"In this age of uncertainty" I think she was (subconscously)looking for
a reason to wean despite what her left brain was saying.  Depending on
my relationship with her, I would have told her that their was one more
thing she could try to see if she was really going to be effected by
this dirty needle (cause what's she going to do stop her whole life-ie.
no more sex, no more children, no more eating off the same plate...?).
Decide what she would *really* like to do,ask in prayer that the Lord
would let her know if it was right decision, and if she felt a good
feeling come over her then she has nothing to fear...
Sometimes it comes down to asking the only One who knows the future.
