I'm sure you know this but LLL's documentation has a technique for tongue
training that often works well. let me know if you don't have access to
this. Weird idea - has she tried nursing him in especially calm
environments? does that help?

I'm sure you know this but even in a homebirth, if the mom tests group b
strep positive, she may chose to do oral antibiotics from a week or two
before her due date until delivery. This would make her succeptible to
yeast.

Lack of certain vitamins can cause easy bruising. Vitamin K can help
bruising. Interstingly though in homebirths sometimes the midwife suggests
supp vitamin K before birth in lieu of the vitamin K shot after birth.
Vitamin C is also necessary to prevent bruising. a web search says that even
a tiny lack of vitamin C can cause easy bruising. here's a pointer to more
info:

now what caused the bruise is another matter. his aggressive biting if she
nursed him, even once, in the football hold?
