In Lawrence 6th ed page 1020 it says fresh expressed human milk can be
kept in a fridge for 3 - 5 days (+4 C / +39 F or lower). It also says
see refs in chapter 21. If I understood correctly, the "3 to 5 days"
recommendation is based on this article, Sosa & Barness, 1987:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=pubmed&cmd=Retrieve&dopt=AbstractPlus&list_uids=3788872&query_hl=17&itool=pubmed_docsum

However, BAB says (noncontaminated) fresh expressed human milk can be
kept up to 8 days in fridge (0 - +4 C), Pardou 1994:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=8054398&dopt=Abstract

I have no access to the original/whole Sosa & Barness article, and I
wonder did they even study the milk samples for more than 5 days or
did they stop at 5th day?
