Dear Pam, we are routinely vacinating babies for measles after 6 mo of age
to protect them until the 12-15 mo MMR.  NJ had the distinction a few years
ago of having  1/5th of all the measles in the US that year (and it's a
small state).  We give MMR between 12-15 mo and again after age 4.  2nd
shot is requirement to   get into  kindergarten now in    NJ.  Also if  you
want to go to  college and haven't had 2 MMRs you registration gets kicked
out by computer!  Big Bro IS watching!  Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
