Regardless of how well the Lansinoh pump works there is the issue of whether
it is desirable to support a company that breaches the International Code on
the Marketing of Breastmilk substitutes (ie Pigeon). Much the same issue
exists with Avent pumps.

Subject: Lansinoh Pump

Has anyone heard of the Lansinoh Manual Breastpump? If so, what are your
thoughts and experiences with it? Also, what are lactnetters
experiences with Medela hospital grade pumps vs Ameda hospital grade
pumps? I am living in an isolated area of northeastern Canada and
looking into the feasibility of opening a pump rental station as there
are no local options for moms in need. We currently offer a free
short-term loan of a hospital grade pump but there have been times when
2+ moms need it and then we are stuck.
