Hi Royce
It can't hurt so go to it. Advantages will include the mother feeling like
she is able to 'do something' for her very unwell baby (I also have a nine
year old baby!). Of course you know Jessica will need much practical
support and a good sling to get herself and the rest of the family through
this. Her energies will need to be directed towards caring for her kids.
Is there a community that can roster things like cooking, cleaning, washing
and transport so that she can just be there for herself and her kids?
Best thought
Nina
