I know this is late in the thread, but how has the thrush diagnosis been made? What are the signs and symptoms in the mother and baby? It sounds as if mother must be in significant discomfort since she is so concerned with getting rid of it, but is she trying to get rid of the right thing?
I ask because when none of the measures listed in Stephanie's post have led to a resolution, I would wonder whether the diagnosis is correct.
