ime, they don't fit well around most moms. Since they don't fit well,
they pull away from mom while she's trying to use it, leaving a gap
which baby propmptly falls in between mom and pillow.
I used a My Breast Friend when I was having such a hard time getting
comfy with Alana (first one). Loved it, never used the strap around my
back, it just sat there and stayed in position. Only used it for a few
weeks though.
With Lila I didn't use anything.
I found the most helpful thing to be a mayawrap sling overall....but
obviously, helps to be nursing well before introducing that one:)
