Hi Nola! Welcome aboard. Sounds like you had more med school training in
breastfeeding than I did. I'm proud to say that things have changed a
little in my corner of the academic world since then. Our FP residents now
get a half-day workshop as interns, plus several other lectures throughout
the year. And when I round at the hospital on ped pts they've admitted, my
perennial question is, "Is/was he breastfed?" And just yesterday, a peds
faculty asked if I'd come give a lecture on BF to their residents!
Progress is slow but steady.
