Today a physician told one of our patients that she must stop breastfeeding because her hemoglobin was so low, day 1-112, day2- 72 and now day 3- 53. This seems unreasonable to me but I would love to get some other opinions. Mom is hesitant to get any blood products and really is in no position to make any rash decisions due to how she feels both mentally and physically. Thanks.
