Well, I am sorry to say that the mother who told me she absolutely LOVED the Willow pump has decided to quit pumping and breastfeeding at 6 weeks! She developed mastitis for the second time and decided it was probably because the Willow was not emptying her well enough. She also has a Spectrum and Medela that she wants to donate! This mom was serious! Unfortunately, she didn't contact me until 3 days after seeing physician who told her to stop everything cold turkey and use cabbage leaves! She was confused, miserable and in tears. Can't imagine why:( Could not talk her into a consult to help with at-breast feedings (best bet since her baby did latch well occasionally). Just walked her through a more gently weaning process.

Besides the obvious take-aways that I don't need to preach to this audience (!), any ideas on use for single-user pumps?
