I agree with Karleen also. The Code is about marketing, advertising, and the
bottom line is that Code violations draw mothers AWAY from breastfeeding. I
definitely like and need and often refer for good pumps, and my
children used bottles when I was away at work. It doesn't have to be an
either/or situation. Companies that manufacture pumps and feeding bottles
can still make good products and provide factual info on them, just not
marketing and not idealising their use.
