NGO=Non Governmental Organization - usually used in reference to
organizations that work with the United Nations (UN).

The best way to deal with abbreviations is to spell the word or phrase out
the first time it's used in a post, put the abbreviation in parentheses
after and then use the abbreviation for the rest of that post.  We do have
to watch our "lingo".
