I was hoping for some advice or perhaps a point in the right direction regarding breastfeeding immunity and scarlet fever.

The following is posted with permission from mom: Mom is nursing 16 month old, her 6 year old has scarlet fever. Mom had scarlet fever as a child and is therefore immune. Does her immunity offer the baby any protection/immunity? I am unable to find any information but I may be looking in the wrong places.

Thank you.
