Thanks to all who responded re frequency of occurence of mastitis in moms who
are BF toddlers.  The mom who originally told me she'd had 2 bouts between 1
and 1 1/2 yr. of age certainly was stressed and also had a baby who bit her
on occasion so makes sense that she could get mastitis just like mom of
younger baby.  I just wondered how often this occurs with older nurslings but
it seems sadly we don't have as many subjects to study.
