Dr. William Sears is also a committed Christian.  He and his wife, Martha have
published a book for Christian parents entitled "The Ministry of Parenting
Your Baby".  It gives another perspective from that of the Prep for Parenting
people.  Glad your little one is thriving, I have seen scheduled babies who
are not.  As LC's we need to be flexible and help the parents fit
breastfeeding into their family mileau, including their belief systems and
time constraints, but not at the expense of infants health.  I have a problem
with an one human being declaring what is "God's way".
