Hi, lactnetters,
    Here are some references on cheap homemade nipple pullers, and a
commercial one which is very expensive here in Australia.
1. KESAREE N, BANAPURMATH CR, BANAPURMATH S, et al. Treatment of
inverted nipples using an inverted syringe.  J Hum Lact 1993;
9(1):27-29. [All but one of the mothers relactated. Diagram shows how to
cut and adapt an ordinary hypodermic syringe.]
2. McGEORGE DD. The "N*******": an instrument for the non-surgical
correction of inverted nipples. Br J Plast Surg 1994; 47:46-49. [With
photograph of device.]
3. OZCAN M, KAHVECI R. The "N*******" for the non-surgical correction of
inverted nipples (letter) Br J Plasstt Surg 1995 (Mar); 48(2):115.
[Describes homemade device using *two* linked hypodermic syringes, one
inverted, with photograph.]
4. McGEORGE DD. The "N*******" for the non-surgical correction of
inverted nipples - a reply (letter) Br j Plast Surg 1995 (Mar);
48(2):115. [The author declares a financial interest in the "N*******"
device.]
5. THORLEY V. Inverted nipple with fatty plaques on areola and nipple.
Breastfeeding Rev 1997; 5(2): 43-44. [Photograph of a cut and inverted
hyperdermic syringe alongside a standard one.]
   All but one of the above items has clear illustrations.
   Sincerely,
      Virginia
