Hello all,
As a longtime member, Leader and supporter of La Leche League International, I received a communique as did all the other Leaders around the world, explaining why at this time LLLI cannot or will not change its insurer. so while I am sure it is not convenient and upsetting for many in the USA who want to join another volunteer organization there seem to be legitimate reasons. So, assuming good intent, which is one of the basic principles of LLLI, there are always two sides to every story, and of course Lactnet would not be the stage for either side to engage in such discussions.
I hope and pray that things do get sorted out, as amicably as possible so we can all just get back to work doin what we love to do........
\
with no lack of respect intended.
Sincerely,\
Ellen Shein, IBCLC LLLI
