I would like to briefly address this issue of formula. Formula is not
evil. It is a tool, and like other tools, it works well in some situations,
and not well in others. There are many cultural and sociological
sub-issues having to do with formula in our society that cause strong
emotions to be elicited.

We don't need to debate the fact that formula is a tool. It is not
inherently evil, but it represents a failure of society to hold
and support mothers in the natural scheme of things.

Having the discussion take a personal and emotional turn is not helpful to
anyone at this time, and is not a profitable tack to take on our list.

Kathleen
