I find this interesting, I hope you do too.
24 exclusive bf babies in May (only well babies were surveyed); but I am lacking discharge data on one infant.

12 were discharged at approx 48hrs. Wt loss was 3.5 - 7% (only 2 were 7%). Gestational ages at birth were 37.5 to 40.1wks (the lower gestational ages did  not correlate with the higher wt losses). There was a mix of vaginal and surgical births.

 11 were discharged closer to 36 hrs. Weight loss was 2 - 5% but most were 2 to 3 %. Gestations were 38.0 to 41.2 wks. There was a mix of vaginal and surgical births.
