Thanks to all who wrote about nipple discharge - most reassuring. (I was
amazed to find that I could express a little milk too.) The mother is not
pregnant, but is taking Diclofenac, 50mg 2x a day, for fibromyalgia. It
sounds as if this might be the precipitating factor.

I am intrigued about this discharge being oily and not tasting sweet. Is
colostrum sweet, like mature milk?

I might be a bit behind the times, but we seem to have just had Breast
Cancer Awareness Week. I saw 2 articles and a pink ribbon today. And a
friend is going for a mastectomy tomorrow. It has shaken me up a bit, and I
have booked to have a mammogram and pap smear next week...Sometimes these
things have to hit close to home to make an impact.
