It sounds as though the baby is nursing sometimes and the baby is getting
bottles at other times. I'm assuming that while she was away, the baby was
getting bottles for at least 24 hours straight, and I wonder if this baby's
latch has deteriorated a bit as a result so that he is not extracting milk
as effectively, and that's causing the milk supply to drop. I have seen this
happen on occasion with other babies, where having bottles for a weekend or
even sometimes a single day will affect the baby's latch quite
significantly. Have you seen this baby nurse?
