The talk about formula and "you know who" reminds me of the first time I
gave a breastfeeding course (to expecting mothers). We had part of an
evening about expressing milk and pumps. During the talk I came to the
conclusion that pumps are just what wizards in these books would describe as
"muggle machines". A few of the mothers (to be) had read the books and began
discussing what sort of spell they could use to express milk. The evening
went down hill from then on until I mentioned the idea of not having to use
a muggle machine because you can also express milk with your hands.

With regards to formula adds. I'm pregnant again and have already had my
first free booklet about breatfeeding, produced my Similac with a 'nice'
peace about nucleotides in breastmilk and nucleotides in Similac! I'm
thinking about opening the flood gates just to see how many artificial
babymilk adverts I receive over the coming months. This might be a useful
way of finding out what the expectant mothers who come to my course are
inundated with.

(ps we looked after the school rabbit during the holidays last week. He came
equipped with a similac tin containing is food. So we decided to jazz it up
and made a really smart cover to stick over the tin hiding all reference to
Similac and ABM!)
