Hi Katherine and lactnuts,
The AAP policy statement (1997) doesn't say 10-14x (I said that was better
than saying 8-12x) but rather it says approx 8 to 12 times in 24 hrs. I
think we rewrote our hospital booklet to say 10-14x is average. Sorry for
the misinformation.
