Q .......baby noises at conferences.  Each year I find these sweet noises
more distracting............what mechanism is at work here??>>

A .......Could it be.......a natural kind of........birth control?

        I don't think this is a type of birth control, as it happens as moms get farther and farther from their last baby -- at least for me, I didn't really get impatient with other people's babies until my own was about 6.  By which time I was not really thinking about having any more babies anyway.
