Linda,
Sometimes it is the sensory qualities of the food that are problematic
for kids with neuro problems. Mom might make a list of the things the
child eats and look for things with similar textures, temperatures, etc.
to offer. A Sensory Integration trained OT can offer other suggestions.

Hi Linda,
Loved your vanilla pacifier trick! Gotta remember that one if Ross
reissues them...

Hi Kathy,
I was dismayed to see a sign up sheet for a formula "baby club" at
Sonoscan, a woman's imaging center in Flushing, Queens, NY when I went
there for a mammogram. Many women in Queens go there for prenatal
sonograms, so it is an effective place to gather names for marketing.
The sign up sheet is on a clipboard right on the receptionist's
counter. They also distribute sample packs that include advertisements
for many different products. I am bringing a copy of the WHO code when I
go back. I tried to explain the Code to the staff, but they said that
the director chose the materials that were distributed and that I'd have
to speak with her. Aargh!!! I wonder if she is aware that undermining
breastfeeding increases a woman's risk of getting breast cancer.
        Regards,
Cathy
