I agree Heather. It can be a tough row to hoe. Especially when an  
overwhelmed new mom, who is faced with the beginnings of the reality of  caring for 
a baby, even with lots of help in those couple of days in  the hospital, 
begins to realize that this mothering thing is going to  actually involve her 
time, personal space, and selflessness, decides to use  formula, but feeling 
conflicted and seeking permission, finds the LC  and gets up the courage to 
ask - with a pleading look in her eyes, "isn't  formula just as good for my 
baby as breastmilk?"
